Clipboards for Russia

A Nonprofit Benefitting Russian Orphans

About Clipboards for Russia

Thank you for visiting the website! In fall of 2009, we started our business, “Clipboards for Russia” to support Mission 1:27.  Mission 1:27 is a 501(c)3 non profit organization started at our church to sponsor an orphanage in Slobodoskoy, Russia. We are very excited about this work and have expanded our products so that we can raise more money and serve more orphans.

Let us give you some background on the orphanage in Slobodskoy. These children are 7-16 years old and often come from very difficult circumstances. Each one has a heart wrenching story. They are often living on the streets, taken from their parents or dropped off at the orphanage by their parents who can longer care for them. They feel alone, unloved and unworthy. We write and Skype with the orphans regularly and visit them each year over our spring break. We think of them now as our extended family.

We create our products all year and then sell them primarily at craft shows during the fall. It has been a huge success. We started out selling just clipboards and now we sell over 18 products!

The money we raise goes to support programs at the orphanage. This past year, we were able to fund seven specific programs including: an Honors Program, Expanded Athletic Program, Drama Program, Computer Program, English Program, “Master of the House” Program and Expanded Reading Program.

Thank you for all of the support!
